Priest: How do you talk to God?
Old Man: I put a chair next to my bed.
[The Priest looks at the empty chair.]
Old Man: I imagine God is sitting there. I talk to Him like a friend.
Priest: That is beautiful.
Old Man: I tell Him my fears, my dreams, my thanks. He listens.
Priest: You have great faith. Keep talking to God.
Scene: Later. The Priest returns.
Narrator: The old man has died. He is in bed, smiling. His hand is on the chair.
Priest: He died in peace… with faith in God.
